Pages & Posts

What's the difference?

Pages are for static information that is they are not associated with a date or time. We use them primarily to explaining how the club operates. Posts are items such as news, rides, Gazettes which are added from time to time.

Pages

Pages will normally be added or amended by the Webmaster. They are inherent to the structure of the website. These items in the top main menu are pages:

  • Frontpage
  • Rides
  • Join Us
  • Archive
  • About
  • Contact

Other pages include:

  • History
  • Riding Standards
  • Publications

Posts can be added or edited by registered users using our Posting Guidlines

The webmaster will always be looking for new items to be added to keep the website relevant, up-to-date and interesting.

If you have been on a tour or done a great ride and have some great photos then do share them. The current policy is to keep them as a permanent record of the club. This is important as WhatsApp & Facebook make it difficult to search and find material from the past.

If you are unfamiliar with Wordpress and not registered then please forward it to the Webmaster who will put it up for you.
